The firmware versions provided in this article enable the web administration interface on the Huawei E5830. This feature is often disabled by network operators.
The big advantage of enabling the web admin interface, is that any computer (Windows PC, Apple Mac, Linux PC etc) with a web browser can administer the MiFi settings over a wireless (WiFi) connection.
The web interface also gives access to advanced features than can’t be accessed using the Huawei WiFi Mobile Partner software.
