Instructions to unlock the Huawei E5830 (Three MiFi), E5832, E5836 and E5838
- Remove the SIM card from your MiFi
- Connect the MiFi to a USB port on your Windows PC
- Install the connection manager software (this should start automatically).
- Wait several minutes after the software has installed.
- Reboot the computer.
- Make sure the connection manager is fully CLOSED, not just minimised!
- Complete the instructions in the email from Unlocked Dongle. (Purchase unlocking solution)
Solutions to common Huawei E583x MiFi unlocking problems
- Insert a SIM card from a different network.
- Disconnect the USB cable then remove and replace the MiFi battery.
- Only turn on the modem, the WiFi should be turned off.
- Disbale The Huawei MiFi Wirless network card in Windows.
- Verify you have an internet connection (this can’t be through the MiFi)
- Reboot the PC
- Connect the MiFi to a different USB port, allow a couple of minutes for the drivers to update.
- Close all programs you have open and temporarily disable any virus / firewall / security software you have running on your computer
- If you connect to the internet via a router, firewall or proxy, try connecting directly to the internet or allow all outbound connections.
